Welcome to the Middle Primary (Primary 3 and 4) webpage!

The Middle Primary is a robust team formed by talented and creative teachers who will combine their strengths, skills and ideas to work together to enrich your child’s time in school. My colleagues and I aim to nurture your child to the best of our abilities. We believe in establishing a strong partnership and an open communication with parents.

A note to parents from the Year Heads,

Dear Parents, our role is to look into all student development matters including general discipline matters and provide intervention strategies where necessary. In addition, we will monitor the Middle Primary students’ progress and work together with the teachers to address areas of growth for your child so as to give your child a positive school experience this year.

Thank you for your partnership and support in your child’s education. We look forward to an exciting year of learning and growth for your child.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Our students love to come to school and enjoy learning because our teachers create a non-threatening and conducive environment that welcomes them. Our students beam with pride when the teachers regularly put up their good work done in class!

P3 Discovery Camp – Learning For Life
A fun-filled after school programme which helps our students to enjoy their schooling experience, develop skills and forge strong bonds / relationships with their school mates.

Welcome to our Discovery Camp, where students acquire essential life skills beyond the classroom.

P4 Discovery Camp – Passion Project Showcase

This showcase, where students exhibit their interests and talents, provides a platform for students to express their unique abilities, passions, and creativity in front of their peers and teachers.

Through showcasing their talents, students gain confidence, self-esteem and a sense of achievement as they receive recognition and appreciation for their efforts. Additionally, participating in such events fosters a supportive and inclusive school community where students feel valued and celebrated for their individuality.

Moreover, the showcase encourages collaboration, teamwork, and leadership skills as students work together to organise and present their performances or projects. To develop their passions and talents, students cultivate virtues such as perseverance, resilience, determination, and discipline, which are essential for overcoming challenges and developing their skills.

Overall, the excitement and enthusiasm displayed by students during the showcase highlight their enjoyment and pride in sharing their talents with others, creating memorable and enriching experiences for all involved.

P3 Learning Journey to Geylang Serai Heritage Gallery

This learning journey has provided our P4 students a transformative experience by immersing them in the vibrant cultural community of Geylang Serai. Through hands-on exploration and guided fieldwork, our students have gained a deeper understanding of Malay-Muslim culture and heritage, fostering empathy and respect for the community's contributions to multicultural Singapore. Engaging in activities such as sketching architecture, tasting traditional cuisine and hearing personal stories from community members have enhanced students' cultural awareness and empathy. By connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences, this learning journey cultivates critical thinking, empathy, and appreciation for diversity, empowering our students to become informed and respectful global citizens.

P4 Learning Journey to Kreta Ayer

Students role-played as junior reporters who are interested in learning about the Chinese Heritage and culture. They embarked on a museum-based heritage learning journey to Kreta Ayer to discover the historical significance of the place as it is now considered a cultural heartland of Chinatown. Students had fun participating in various traditional cultural art forms such as nanyin music, Chinese puppetry and Chinese calligraphy. They also will be exploring how the Chinese community has contributed to Singapore on this journey.

P4 Traffic Games

Students will learn road safety tips and how to be a responsible road-user at our community road safety park.

P3 Swimsafer Programme
Students learn basic swimming, survival and lifesaving skills. Takes place during curriculum lessons in Term 1 (3S) and (3T) and Term 2 (3O).

Awards and Recognition
Students who have demonstrated virtues actions, are good role models and have demonstrated good habits would be recognsed.
