The Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2021 is jointly organised by the Malay Language Council, Singapore (MLCS), Malay Language Teachers’ Association (PGBM), Berita Harian (BH) and Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC). This award recognises the contributions of Malay Language teachers in the teaching and learning of the Malay Language.
One of eight finalists of the award, Mdm Azlin is a dedicated Malay Language teacher with deep pedagogical knowledge of the Malay Language and shares her passion and knowledge with her students. She often infuses ICT tools in the teaching of the Malay Language to excite and engage her students, while designing lessons which are well-pitched to their level. As the Malay Language Coordinator, Mdm Azlin shares her knowledge with her Malay department members and is always looking out for more ways to value-add to the students’ learning. She also oversees Malay Language programmes to provide students with the opportunity to use the language in authentic settings.
We are proud of Mdm Azlin for being a finalist of the Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award!
